Xiaomi Redmi 5A - Not desh ka smartphone

So today, I am reviewing Xiaomi’s affordable product for price centric market India – which Xiaomi calls ‘desh ka smartphone’. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A is the succseor of Redmi 4A which was launched earlier in 2017. By the price tag of Rs 5, 999, it is for the masses; Xiaomi Redmi 5A is the company’s most affordable device in todays time.

Thanks to the makers, The Xiaomi Redmi 5A doesn’t feel cheap lookwise. Xiaomi has managed the moderate balance between price tag and product quality.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A has a micro-USB port at the bottom of it, IR emitter and 3.5mm jack at the top of it, SIM and micro SD slot at the left of it and volume rocker and power button on the right side of it. Ultimately, there are separate slots for a microSD card and dual SIMs.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A has a decent 5 inch HD screen but there is no fingerprint sensor. In the box you get a 5W charger for its 3, 000mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425. The 425 chipset is now on every budget phone. which is more than a year old. with all the basic features like 4G connectivity and VoLTE, Wi-Fi and FM.
