After the grand success of redmi note 3 people were expecting some miracle from redmi note 4. Redmi note 3 packed an amazing hardware inside it at an unbeatable price(main highlight - Snapdragon 650) which was the reason for its popularity. It was selling like hot cakes.
sound reception- sound reception is good, nothing to complain in this area.
Ease of use: now this is a controversial topic, as it completely depends on the likes of the consumer. the software is a bit of a let down as it is ram hungry and has some restrictions like killing background tasks, but again the rom itself is colourful and feature rich.
style and design: I would say that xiaomi has nailed it this time with metallic body, champhered edges and most important 2.5 D glass(gives it a premium feel) . does not look like a budget device
range of features; xiaomi phones have never lacked in features, and this is no exception. it has all the features a high end phone has with all the essential sensors and fingerprint scanner. the camera quality has improved from redmi note 3
reliability and durability: the phone is very much durable and the screen has a bit scratch resistance too but not corning gorilla glass. It feels sturdy in hand
value for money: Redmi note 4 is indeed a value for money, but did not hit the right spot in terms of processor(should have given snapdragon 652). but it has a massive battery with super efficient processor which adds up to super battery life
final verdict: Redmi note for is a fantastic device for casual users who need a beautiful device with big battery life, but people in this segment expected a powerful processor instead of super battery back up
