I was actually afraid writing its review because I read reviews about it and everyone is praising it. However my experience is bit different. May be It’s device specific but I would like to share my experience with it.
I purchased Redmi Note 4G in July 2015 after reading and watching review online. But I have to say it was worst decision I took.
Built - Built quality is very poor. If we press it hard it might break. One can hear charpy sound while pressing back cover. It feel cheap when you hold it in hand.
Performance - Although it has all specs that a midrange smartphone has but I must say Moto G2 runs way fast than Redmi Note. I cannot play any game on it. It lags on all games even with basic games like fruit ninja. Forget about subway surfer or any other game like this.
Sound Quality: It must say it is below average on loudspeaker. With headphone it is fine.
Screen Quality: Average. Even with full brightness screen visibility is low in outdoor.
Battery: It has 3100 mAH battery which seriously takes time to charge and drains out very fast even on stand by. It hardly last for 24 hours even with average usage. It needs to be noted that it is not in even 3G data network but yes always on Wifi.
Camera: This is the area I found it good. Picture quality is good in outdoor and average in indoor with artificial light. But again in processing pictures it lags.
Call Quality: Call quality is also good in Redmi note. I never face issue of call drop.
MIUI: No complains for this. UI is fine but if you ever used stock android you might not like it.
My main concern is overall performance and I found it poor. I contacted support team as well and they suggested steps to clear cache, remove unwanted etc. but nothing works.
I wouldn’t suggest this to anyone.
