Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 launched in the Indian market at a sub Rs.15, 000 price. The phone has matched the colour of the fingerprint scanner with the glossy finish of the camera module, which comes across as a pretty good designer feature.
The phone is now the entry point for the Note 9 series, and Xiaomi has smartly picked the MediaTek Helio G85 for this model.
I found the overall display of the phone to be quite decent too. The face recognition feature was also fast and convenient. The battery life of the Redmi Note 9 is also quite good. It could easily go beyond a day and a half without the hassle of plugging in. Even if you are a heavy user, the 5, 020mAh battery should last you over a day. Currently, the phone charges to 29 percent in 30 minutes and 60 percent in an hour. Charging the device completely takes a little over two hours. As for the photo quality is concerned, the portrait mode managed good separation between the subject and background. Edge detection was also very good.
