The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is powered by Snapdragon 720G processor. This smartphone came out after almost 5 months of the release of the Redmi Note 8, therefore one would expect it to come along with better features embedded, however, honestly, that hardly is the case. The only tad improvement that has come with the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max would be its camera specifications.
Snapdragon 720G doesn’t seem to do justice to the expectations attached with the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. The launch of applications and websites is considerably slower and takes longer to launch than the Redmi Note 8 Pro which was powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor. It faces problem while multitasking. While it faces so much lag, it also overheats at the same time which becomes infuriating after a while.
Due to the abnormal amount of overheating, the battery gets drained out way too much, way too early which, again isn’t a very desirable aspect. For the same amount, there are various other phones available with better features as well.
