Let me start with the price of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. It comes with a price tag of Rs.12, 999. Now any Redmi fan would know that this price is surprisingly low for a Redmi phone especially when it is powered by a super pricey Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset. This seems like it is just too good to be true. And if you feel that, you might just be right. With this smartphone, it is quite evident that in order to be in the mid-range segment, the brand has held back quite a lot with this model. With a new generation of Redmi Note smartphone, one’s expectations reach a new high but sadly, the same are not met with regard to this smartphone.
It is powered by Snapdragon 720G. Now that’s supposed to be good, however, it’s not. The phone is extremely heavy to be able to use it for a longer period of time without getting tired. And, along with that, there is excessive amount of overheating and battery drain that goes simultaneously. I am disappointed and I would suggest that there are better phones available over this for better features and faster processor.
