At a price of Rs.9, 000, this phone is a great value for money. Screen size of 5.5 inch is bit large and makes it difficult to operate with one hand but once you get accustomed its screen size, it will be of great use in reading e-books, watching movies and playing games.
Slightly inconvenient to carry in normal jeans/pant pockets. [ I have been carrying it in jackets during winters but don’t know how will I manage it in summers;) ]
More than a month of use and it hasn’t hanged or crashed or lagged. Touch sensitivity is decent and usually responds to single touch.
I have played games such as Asphalt without any lag or heating. The mi store and customization makes your phone unique.
Camera is excellent at this price point, the still and video recordings are sharp and full of colour.
Front camera is good but not very good for taking selfies due to small angle coverage.
The mega battery size of 3100 mh easily gets you through the day for medium to heavy use of data, voice and few games.
The glossy white back panel is no no for me and therefore I have purchased blue and black original mi backcovers which fits quite nicely and makes it look beautiful.
One major disadvantage that I found was insufficient number of service centre. I am not sure what will I do if it ever cranks.
