I used Redmi Y1 for a month or two and it showed many demerits.
First of all, you have better options in Rs 8999. Maybe you can go for Redmi 5 which has a much better processor than Redmi Y1.
Also, if you need a camera phone, in this price range, you can go for 10.or G which has a far better camera.
In terms of processor, Redmi Y1 has 1.4 Ghz Cortex A53 processor which is not as good as Redmi 5’s Snapdragon 450 processor.
So, you have better options in this price range.
