XOLO Win Q1000

I bought the XOLO Win Q1000 4 months back through Amazon. After using the device for the time period mentioned, I am in the position to list its pros and cons.

Pros:

1. Beautiful HTC-esque design which is far better than any Lumia.

   
   




2. Loads of features for a very low price of just 6k such as a quadcore Snapdragon 8212 processor, 8 MP rear cam with flash and ability to play full HD videos among others.

   
   




3. WP 8.1 OS runs smoothly without any lag.

   
   




4. Lava(the parent company of XOLO) provides regular updates for this handset, which is a relief considering the fact that generally non-Lumia WP handsets are ignored.

   
   




5. Phone comes with a nice set of accessories for its price such as a tempered glass screen guard, a glass back cover and USB cable, none of which are provided by Microsoft for its Lumias.

   
   




6. Good and clear call, audio and video quality with very minimal call interference and drops.

   
   




7. Good quality earphones and awesome music listening experience.

   
   




8. Phone does not overheat much unlike its Lagdroid counterparts.

   
   




9. Long battery life which is the hallmark of any WP handset.

   
   




10. It’s an Indian product and I prefer to encourage our desi brands.

    
    

Cons:

1. Underwhelming gaming experience, games like Subway Surfers and even Solitaire lag.

   
   




2. Rear camera may be 8 MP, but the quality of the pictures taken using the device is grainy and mocks at the 8 MP camera claim.

   
   




3. Accessories for the phone are very difficult to get.
