I was forced to purchase something from PayTm, as my amount from the failed BSES electricity bill payment, was lying with them.
The 1st item that I chose, turned out to be out of order. I was informed after 1 week.
The 2nd item that I chose, was shipped from Bangalore, using XpressBees courier.
I had not heard of this courier before. I read about it on mouth_shut. The reviews did not give a good feeling. 12 Reviews and only 17% ratings.
Well, my order was booked in Bangalore on 28th Jan. Thursday. As per Tracking information, the packet was in Bangalore only, even on 30th.
Then on 31st Jan, on a Sunday, it arrived in Delhi. I was impressed. Working and updating the tracking information, even on a Sunday?
Then on Monday and Tuesday, my joy disappeared. There was neither any delivery attempt, nor any update on the website. Had they lost my packet?
I sent a mail, inquiring about my packet and why no update for 2 days.
Soon after the mail, there was an update on Tuesday and on Wednesday, it was delivered to me, by a very courteous courier delivery chap. This politeness is very important to me.
So, one whole week for a packet to move from Bangalore to Delhi. As my packets reach US from Delhi, in just two days, I find this service slow, but reliable.
One more issue, they flash the whole mobile no. of the consignee on their website, after the delivery. Now, I dont think that is necessary or advisable.
Overall, a satisfactory experience that required a lot of patience!
