I bought a custom print tee-shirt from x-tees for my cousin a couple of weeks ago. This was my second purchase from x-tees as I was quite satisfied with my first order which was a simple round neck collar tee with words on the front and back. The words have remained as clear as the day I got it despite the physical abuse it has endured at my hands and in the washing machine.
So.I sent them an image I wanted to get printed and then I waited for the shipment as usual. The shipment arrived but the rubber print was defective. I brought this to the attention of a gentleman called Sam who corresponded with me during the order. I sent him an email with a digital snap as proof of the problem. I received a prompt reply stating that a replacement tee would be sent within a few days and as promised, the replacement arrived and its quality was far superior. So HATS OFF TO XTEES for its quick and responsive customer service!
The only thing I had issue with was a slight delay with the pre-replacement order(the defective one). The email I received stated 3 to 7 working days, but my order took about 10 days to reach me. And on opening it I found the defect. On emailing Sam about the problem, he told me about a serious technical issue with one of his printing machines and as a result, orders were getting backed up and delayed. The defective tee I received was probably a result of the technical snag. Nevertheless, the issue was apparently sorted out as the replacement was of top quality.
A word of caution to customers who place custom image print orders - the rubber printing process is long, involved and quite complicated. Its not the same as those DO-IT-YOURSELF tee-shirt prints you can do on your home printer. I did a bit of homework on the net and found out that the industrial quality rubber printing machines take ages to do a teeshirt properly. So be ready for a slight delay.
However, in conclusion, I can safely say that my x-tees experience was pleasant. The end result(a great looking custom image printed tee) was well worth the wait. I got an email yesterday from my cousin praising the tee to high heaven. And the customer service was great as well.
