This is not a review on Yahoo messenger. This is just a tip for the users of yahoo and msn messengers.
I find that many users who use these messenger complaint that the messengers get disconnected inspite of the internet connection being good.
If you are using a computer which is connected to a network which is running on proxy server to access the internet, the messengers do give problems because they do not support the proxies well and I feel this is one of the main reasons for the messengers not working very well at times.
I have a temporary way out for this.
Use the Indiatimes messenger wherein you have a really good feature with which you can log on to your yahoo or msn accounts and chat with all your yahoo and msn friends ( you may miss the voice chat, web cam features), I think this will help ppl who want to use text chat. I have been using this and it has helped me whenever my yahoo msgr gave way.It has been stable not giving any problems whatsoever. I think you can give it a try. For this you need to have a indiatimes account to log into the various accounts.
well if Indiatimes messenger fails, I have no way out :)
