I would judge yahoo messenger with its competition because competition gets out the most out of anyone. in comparison to msn messenger and icq ....ym eats less resources from your computer, gets connected to their server much much faster and even in slow dial up speeds which is real cool.
it has this excellent feature of offline messenging which icq also offers but msn does not. yahoo messenger has a tie up with ORANGE in mumbai so that u can send/recieve SMS on your cell. they have easy to use webcam services ..whereas
in msn they netmeeting wherein u never get to know...where to start and what call to end..its a total mess... all in
of the 3 most famous s/w’s I would recommend yahoo messenger
they also have online helper which no other service gives you
