I hope all of you guys have read the review called ’’the messiah of messengers’’ by none other than our Rajeev. So I don’t think I should go once again through the definitions of instant messaging and yahoo messenger. What I am interested in telling you is he new version is a major take off from the older version of the messenger and it is way cooler than all the rest. What are you waiting for? Update the messenger. Well! Going already! Wait and finish reading my review.
The most important feature of the new yahoo messenger is that is has INTERNET TELEPHONY . Yes guys; now you can actually hear her voice. Just look if she is online and then all you need to have to talk to her is a microphone and a headset. YOU CAN CHAT OVER THE PHONE LINE FOR FREE . Well! Almost free! Internet charges applicable.
That makes me a much more relieved man. I was dying to tell you the good news. But wait, there are lots more.
Have you are got tired of attaching all the pictures to your mails. I really used to wish that if only I could just drag and drop the picture into the messaging box, then things had been a bit easier. My wish has been granted. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TO DRAG A PICTURE AND DROP IT INTO THE IM WINDOW AND WALLA; YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW OFF .
There is this new feature that makes adding messenger contacts a piece of cake kind of job. You see; you can SEND YOUR CONTACT PROFILE to any id you wish to.
Wish you could set YAHOO MAIL AS YOUR DEFAULT MAILING APPLICATION . It is also possible with the new messenger. Really I was just getting tired of the outlook express popping up every time I clicked on a mail id.
You know, Rajeev is online most of the time, and the other day I was talking to him, when I saw that his icon was very different from all the others in my list. Then he told me that it was his YAHOO AVATAR . O.k. fine, big guy, as if I dint know that? Well, Rajeev, you better get your messenger updated or you will be left behind. Cause with the new messenger you can have a wide selection to choose from and also very interesting characters to choose from.
I wanted to show him who is boss, but then you know, he knew the messenger more than I do. So was looking for something to stage a fight back. That was the audibles option that says all kinds of phrases like ’’keep punching’’ and stuff. But then, he knew very well how to do that. You better not be online today, cause my new messenger has AUDIBLES IN MY REGIONAL LANGUAGE . What? You know my regional language? You are from my place? No wonder people address you by the name of Psyxx.
My favourite game is same as the favourite game of many other Indians. What else? Cricket. Though it is referred to as the Mr. Yawn game, still we are definitely not going to miss even a second of the gentleman?s game, and that is definitely applicable to the time we are chatting on the net. Well! I am a cricket fan, so I got the new yahoo messenger. You know, it has tabs for CRICKET too. Just press on it to get the latest news from the cricketing world.
Did I mention voice mail? O.k. if you call a friend from the messenger and he is not there, then you can leave him a VOICE MESSAGE . The sound clarity of the messenger is also good than phone lines, if you have a high-speed Internet connection.
Chatting with someone, specially your girl friend or boyfriend can be so boring at times. You can’t tell him or her to shut up. So you have to listen. What to do? LAUNCH CAST RADIO is just the tool for you. Just select your favourite station and music it is.
GAMES ! Now that’s something interesting. Isn’t it? Well game online with the yahoo messenger and see how good you are competing with people from different parts of the world. Play pool, chess and lots more.

EMOTICONS , well! They are a range of cartoon like faces that express a wide variety of feelings. There is a whole bunch of emoticons available; you just have to pick the right one. Angry, or smiling devil? Which one suits you most?
Funny that you have to leave this good world behind when you leave your system. BUT WAIT, YAHOO MAIL IS AVAILABLE ON THE MOBILE also. There are a whole bunch of features available. You just need to have the right connection from any one of the major players in the mobile sector.
All these great news. There a must be a catch right? Of course yes. IT IS ALL FOR FREE DOWNLOAD. HAPPY! NO CREDIT CARD. NO NOTHING. JUST FREE .
But there is a catch. As Rajeev said in his review, you are exposing yourself to the scum of the world, and the world is not all nice people.
