Guess most of you must have downloaded the new BETA messenger being offered by Yahoo! and must be all happy about it with seeing new features such as the ballooning of the id giving up options once you place the cursor on the id or the pressing of F3 buttton to get the previous messages. Wonder how many of them have given a look to the audibles and said ’’ oh well , nothing new here’’. That’s what you think!!
You don’t have new audibles because you have downloaded the US Yahoo! Messenger and not the Indian Yahoo! Messenger! The Indian Yahoo! Messenger contains a new set of Hindi audibles , yes , Hindi speaking audibles which are so hilarious that you will laugh your head off! Available in the range of mimicked voices ranging from Johnny Lever to Paresh Rawal and filmy screams of ’’Nahiin’’ audibles, its the best thing brought out by messenger region wise to all its users.
Here’s how to go about downloading it if you have the older yuckier version!
Procedure:
Step 1: First delete the version of Yahoo! messenger you have which can be safely done by removing it from the add/remove programs option in control panel.
Step 2: Go to https://yahoo.co.in
Step 3: Go to the messenger tab being displayed in the yahoo! page.
Step 4: You’ll get an option to download the Indian version of Beta Messenger.
Other features wherein the new version of messenger has considerably improved is in the area of file transfer! Amazingly, the previous day, I had to share a small program I had with my friend and to give it the acid test , I transferred the file through the IM window. The size of the file was around 12 MB and it did considerably well to transfer the whole file in 15 minutes!
Regarding the Games options available, guess it all depends on our service providers on how fast and effective a game can be played. All the games being offered are the old ones with no new additions to the previous one.
