Yahoo Mail, My choice mail.
Thank you Mouthshut, I am feeling confident about writing review on YAHOOMAIL, even though I was not paid 1 rupee by Mouthshut, still I say thank you for the platform.
Who does not know about YAHOOMAIL, half of online world has some experience of this email.
Online newbies cut their teeth on Yahoomail. But this is not the reason for writing review, I
am writing review to applaud YAHOO MAIL BETA VERSION. asp, php, xml and other new
web languages are changing the web pages everyday.
Now after login Yahoomail is offering a choice to log into beta version or Yahoo Classic Mail, I
choose beta version since 1 week, I am enjoying this new version, because I hate FRAMES, this
is the observation I formed about new YAHOO MAIL BETA VERSION.
You land on a MAIL ADMINISTRATOR page, this page structure is as follows:-
Left corner, Center page(2 panes top to middle page and middle to bottom page). Lets go into
page structure details.
*LEFT CORNER

*You have a search box, this is MAIL SEARCH BOX, if you have many emails present in
your inbox or custom made folder, you can use this search. below this box, there are
*INBOX
DRAFTS
SENT
SPAM
TRASH
CONTACTS
*how many contacts online at present and their screen names appear with a yellow dot.
*CALENDER
NOTEPAD
ALL FEEDS
MY FOLDERS.
*3 advertisements banners of different companies.
*CENTRE PAGE

*This part of the page has INBOX content, new emails listed 5 or 6 can be seen and the rest of
the content of inbox scrolled by the scroll button to the right of the screen. The centre page
to the bottom page is the space where, you can see the content of the clicked email, it can
be scrolled by the scroll button to the right, until you reach the end.
There are standard email management buttons on top of the mail window(area) delete, reply,
forward, spam, move, print, more actions, view etc.,
Now lets come to the top of the page, which is usually the area where you have your screen name
YAHOOMAIL page has links like Yahoo, My Yahoo, News, Search(box, for web search) sign out, MAIL CLASSIC, help, my account: This is where you can set options to your Yahoo mail accounts, there are many options you can set here. Here you have a choice to go back to Classic Mail, with
FRAMES yuck. Who will not fall in love with this new Mail Administrator page on YAHOO MAIL.
*MAIL ADMINISTRATOR PAGE

*This is the page you land as I told earlier, in this new structure, your new emails or old emails
are opened in a partial window of main administrator window, everything you click like contacts
or address book, the contents open in a pop out window in the main administrator window.
*CHATS FROM INBOX

*You find one of your contacts online, click his screen name highlighted in online status area
a chat window opens, the messages sent by your friend get arranged on top of the page centre
and your answers can be typed in a TEXT BOX in the bottom of the page and click SEND button,
Now for the fun part. This chat window is a part of your mail administrator window, You can navigate
away from this window, by clicking a tab by the side of INBOX tab, the chat session does not
close, it is open as a tab on the mail administrator area. Yellow colour flashing alerts the
receipt of new chat line on the tab. The tab name is the screen name of your contact. There is
a small "X" on the tab. If you click this "X" on tab, you chat session window closes and you are
still present in the MAIL ADMINISTRATOR area. Is this SUPER or WHAT?
There are no clumsy FRAMES to deal with, there are no navigating away to many pages and sub pages Suppose you are reading a New Email and You find another Email interesting, DOUBLE CLICK that email, it opens up in a sub window and a NEW TAB forms just beside the INBOX tab, like in the chat sessions, now you have 2, 4, 7, Emails open simultaneously as tabs, want to check out the content of each emails, click its TAB, the tab name is the SUBJECT LINE of the Email. You have the same "X" on the tab. Clicking "X" closes the open email, without even navigating away from
your MAIL ADMINISTRATOR, what is these so many beautiful options, I just love the new beta
version.
Composing, Saving, Chatting in sub windows of the MAIL ADMINISTRATOR window is the fun world created by YAHOO for its Million and above users. Adding chat contacts, adding new people to
address book has become easy and fast in NEW YAHOOMAIL. Inserting mail address from your
Address book is become easy because of POP OUT small sub window, click contacts and a POP OUT sub window opens giving you listing of all your contacts. You can add multiple recipients to
your EMAIL with the same ease.
I know I am coming to end of my 7500 words limit, so I will have to cut short my review, I have
yet not covered many things. REMEMBER we all celebrated BLOWING up of STORAGE METER by YAHOO. So there is no storage limit in YAHOOMAIL. Don’t delete anything.
You can sort emails in many options, Suppose you have 15 clients, you make 15 folders and set
their emails address as to be forward to this folder, Lo! and Behold! you have 15 different
folders receiving 15 different sent emails. Pre sorted and neatly arranged.
*ANTI VIRUS PROTECTION

*No review of YAHOOMAIL is complete without the mention of the fantastic virus scanning of all
attachments, be it XL, PowerPoint, Photos or Video files, all are scanned before attaching
and downloading to your PC.

*I do not fail to mark SPAM the VIAGARA sellers and enlargement advisers, I wonder if there is
any drug to ENLARGE my HANDS and NOSE and other parts of my body. If drugs work for one part they should work for other parts of the body. These Auto-Spammers must be traced and punished, they are adding to the traffic and abusing MASS UTILITY SERVICES. I know people who run their business on FREE YAHOOMAIL because of the ease it provides and the multi features, created by the magnificent YAHOO SCRIPT WRITERS and PROGRAM WRITERS.
