I bought yamaha crux after considerable enquiry and comparision with HH, mainly on Economical pricing ground(Rs.41475+ at Venkatesha motors, Rajbhavan road Hyderabad.) but the delivery mode spoiled the happiness. Immediately after taking delivery and came to my place the rear indicators were hanging(with in 15 minutes), due to substandard material or wrong handling of transport to dealer place may have caused the indicatorsjoints to weken.
And for technical matter, I am new to gear vehicle
- first 30 days I used to run the bike with choke in on position as explained by dealer in Showroom, but
Service centre mechanic told me the correct position(down side is on, upside is off position for crux)
due to this I used to get 35-40 km per litre due to this wrong choke operation and many times bike was
stopping in middle. I suggest every new buyer to completely to read the owners manual regaring
operation of vehicle thoroughly on major points like choke, clutch and other safety points.
- Company seems very honest in pricing of this bike, but no propagation of marketing support it
seems. Yamaha could establish some Bike Driving Training centres in cities since minute points
like how to shift the gears at hurdle, bumps, speedbreakers is very important in first 30 days, and
unfortunately many people are not aware of this vehicle.
3.First service is over two days back, I have to observe the mileage now.(as many people said 60 km mileage is bieng given, to be observed)
Update on 5.08.2011 : First mileage reading after first service given 90+km per litre
I filled 3.50 litres when tank is emptired, and observed where it is coming to
reserve, (since 2.5 litre is Reserve capasity as per manual)
For more accurate again second reading to be taken with one litre
from reserve point.
UPDATE ON 8.08.2011: Mileage observed in City traffic condition is 61 to 65 km. per litre.
something satisfactory observation.
