I bought my Yamaha Crux on 17th February 2011 from Orion Motors opposite to Forum Mall by paying 45, 200 inclusive of all taxes and RTO, and with mandatory extra fittings like side stand, saree guard, seat cover, mirros etc. from the day one I started loving the bike because of its performance. Daily iam going to office from Madiwala to Electronic City phase 2 in bangalore which is of 14 kms distance, so daily iam travelling up and down not less than 28 kms. I never faced any problem with the bike. Before first service I have noticed 56 kms with normal petrol and 60 kms with premium or shell per litre. After first service and second service as well I havent noticed much change in the mileage and ofcourse my usage also was very high during peak hours in bangalore traffic. But after third service, I completely started using in no traffic roads because of change in my office location, and I noticed a tremondous improvement in mileage, its showing 70.87 kilometeres per litre with premium. At the reading of 5302 kms, it went into reserve mode and I poured premium petrol of worth 300 rupees, where I got 3.88 litres on 4th of October 2011 from pertrol pump opposite to Orion motors itself, and by the time next reserve time, the metre reading was 5577 which is 275 kilometres for 3.88 litres of petrol. Also on August 30th 2011 I went 400 kilometres at a stretch on my Crux bike from bangalore to native place Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, because of dasara demand I didnt get tickets either in ksrtc or in apsrtc or in private buses. Though I went 400 kilometres at a stretch I havent faced any ergnomy problems or I havent faced any bike related problems even though my height is 5.11 and my weight is 90 kgs, for which generally people use to say 100CC bikes will be not suitable for such long drive and that to for heavy weight people like me.
So with this I can say Yamaha Crux is the best bike in 100 CC segment. Minor backlogs I noticed is fuel indicator is not there, Head light would have been much brighter, and with our rainy season roads, Shock absorbers would have been more better, but still the current shock absorbers which is there with crux can be said as best in 100CC segment. Apart for daily fuel, Lubrication oil and Lubrication greese during services, I havent even spend single rupee for maintenance of the bike. Last but not least, when it comes to pickup YAMAHA is unbeatable, to prove it again, the work done by engineering team of Crux should be appreciated, though Crux is of technically only 106CC bike, I am able to chase as well as over take all most all non Yamaha bikes which are less than or equal to 125CC. WITH ALL MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BIKE FOR 9 MONTHS, I CAN SAY YAMAHA CRUX IS BETTER THAN THE BEST.
