Yamaha Crux: Best Value for Money :After 3 years

If I say my Yamaha Crux is like my nokia 6021(read my review for Nokia 6021), it won’t be wrong, for the money crunch always compels me to ’research’ my purchases beforehand. In Aligarh I got my bike onraod with accesories and complete papers(including Insurance and road tax etc.) in just Rs30500/=. Apart from economy I also looked for its fuel economy and it has’nt me let down. It ran over 50Km/l before the first service, and the mechanic has told me that I will achieve about 65-75Km/l average normally, if I drive safe and maintain a proper upkeep of my bike. It has a 106 CC engine against the HeroHonda’s 96CC engines in CD Dawn etc. Its pickup is great and starting is easy. We can kick start it in any gear.We need not mix 2T oil in its petrol. I wish it could have got good rear shock absorbers, I mean lookwise. Another positive aspect of the bike that I have been told by many is the cheap supply of spare parts later on.So maintaning it would be cheaper than any other bike.

Well folk that was three years ago, and I am happy the bike has stood the test of time and still going great. Spare parts are easy to get, mileage is good and apart from regular fuel refills it hardly asks for anything.
