Go for it...

Yamaha wanted to recreate magic of RX100 in 4 stroke bke segment so they launched Crux, later they added few features and named the new bike as Crux-S(S for style) and older model was retained as Crux-R(R for Rough). Crux-S was launched in mid 2005 and I had previlage of chossing this bike.(partly bcoz I am yamaha fan and partly bcoz its gud for college goer who want to buy bike from their pocket money) overall it costed me 35000, beaware some attachments like leg guard are to unique to Crux-S and spares of Crux-R cannot be used in Crux-S.

I bought my bike when university gave me a scholarship, I straight away headed to Rajouri Garden(New Delhi) dealer. The bike has several plus points like value for money, brand name, engine size. It looses out when on factors like skinny tyres.gear shift is smooth and engine is robust(it gave me 70-80KMPL on roads of gurgaon) Yamaha needs to rethink their strategy as Crux(which was positioned against Dawn from Hero Honda/ CT-100 from Bajaj/ CRD 100 from LML/ Start from TVS) could not capture much of the intended market.

One good thing is that you need not wait for long time at Yamaha service stations! The service is quick!
