I have owned an Enticer for the past 3 years and I have loved every moment on it. When I planned on buying a motorcycle( Others make bikes, Yamaha makes motorcycles!) , I was sure on the aspect that I wanted a cruiser. The options then were Enfield Thunderbird, Bajaj Eliminator(now Avenger) and Yamaha Enticer. I rejected Bajaj outright, didnt want to research a piece of junk. I love Enfield but I could not afford the bike and its maintenance later on.
So with my eyes, heart and mind set on Yamaha, I jumped into the decision of making one my own. And I took this decision despite knowing the fact that this motorcycle is going out of production.
I have done about 30, 000 Kms so far and the only thing that I have got replaced is an indicator bulb.
My comments on some of the aspects of this bike:-
Mileage: I maintain it very well( Premium fuel, regular oil change). I get anywhere between 48 -50 km/l.
Comfort: I just love the riders footrest. It makes long rides such a breeze. The handle position is perfect. It doesnt strain your back at all. My wife loves the pillion back rest. It keeps her safely saddled.
Maintenance: The only thing bad I found in this motorcycle is low quality chrome that has been used. I have to get frequent anti rust coatings done.
Reliability: Its a Yamaha.
