My 98 model Yamaha Rx 135

Hi Everybody! After taking test ride of all the Pulsars, CBZs, Victors, 125cc LML etc I decided to go back to my old yamaha Rx135 powerhouse and gave it to a very good mechanic for overhauling in Delhi. The overall estimate for new paint, tyres, seat, petrol tank, mudguards, cylinder piston was approx 10-12 K, which I was very happy to pay. He promised me that the bike will look new once he does all the jobs as required. The delivery was to be made in 4 days and I paid 5K to the mechanic to start work. Things were going fine but suddenly our own Delhi government which is working very hard to find new ways of putting taxes these days, came up with something very funny.

The govt banned all the private mechanics(apart from big showrooms) to operate in Delhi and started sealing the shops. They say that these mechanics are using the MCD land illegally. This resulted in all the mechanics going on an indefinite strike. Because of this my bike which was supposed to be given to me in 4 days has not been repaired after 15 days. So guys ! Now every time we need to get a punctured tyre repaired or the vehicle breaks down, we may have to call the competent, vikas motors, vivek automobile, dynamic motor etc to fix it and it may cost anything between 200-500 Rs.So next time somebody from out of Delhi comes to delhi make sure you bring along a mechanic. Happy driving!
