Another yahama real model bike fazer 250. After fazer 155 now fazer 250. Same bike new engine. My friend brought this bike 2 month ago. And I am riding this couple of days now I am going to review this bike. I am big fan of yahama. And I also have r15 v2 which is great bike but I don’t like fazer.
Build and look - it’s not a good looking bike because on front it’s visor is very big and heavy and back same old type. Build quality is decent same material use which is used old fazer. Front led headlamp looking attractive and back tail lamp same copy of apache 200.
Performance - here we big disappointment. Because it has 250 cc engine but only 20ps power which is very low power I think it’s more then lower any 200 cc bike. But it has good torque 19 PS which is good and in city U get problems. Because it has only 5 speed gear box it means u always miss 6th gear. Why yahama why u do this. And in highway it’s decent because of good torque. So power management not good as expected. And it has mono shock suspension which is decent not that much good compare to r15. So overall it’s a decent performer.
Handaleing and breaking - it’s a same handle which is used fazer 150 and because of its front so much weight then when u take cornering u felt your confidence but when you touring then you fill comfort because of up ride position. And breaking is not good and some time hard breaking its very risky. I don’t know why yahama not used abs because it’s 250 cc bike.
Milage - company claim its 32 to 35 kmpl but I hardly got 28 to 30 max.
Problem - my friend get many problems like engine noisy sound some time bike so much hot and it’s vibration a lot from front visor.
In my opinion in this price range u get more powerful bike like rs 200 apache 200 and dominar 400 choice is yours.
