I am using Yamaha Fazer for some days. In my short experience I found the following performances from the bike.
Positive Aspects of Yamaha Fazer 153cc
First of all Yamaha Fazer is a JAPANESE bike technologically. So it’s no need to describe it elaborately at all.But for satisfying peoples interest I am writing about it’s details.
1) It’s a dazzling spectacular, featured with Air-cooled, 4-stroke and very Strong Engine. Maximum power is 14PS @ 7500 rpm. Almost no vibrations from engine even at 120kmph speed. Engine is noise-free.
2) Best looking and the most stylish bike in 150cc segment.
3) Great control & reliability. Yamaha Fazer 153cc has a very wide rear tyre."India’s first “140/60-R17” size radial tyre (rear)". It provides an awesome Super bike look to this bike.Besides, ensures strongest grip and reliability on road. It’s is a unique feature of Yamaha Fazer than other 150cc bikes...like Pulsar, Apache, Hero honda HUNK etc....
4) Great riding comfort with suitable body posture for long traveling. It’s a wonderful traveling bike.
5) It is the fastest bike in 150cc segment (Top speed is around 130kmph) and capable of defeating Pulsar 150, Apache 160, Hero honda HUNK, CBZ Extreme 150cc etc....with great ease, reliability and control.
6) Front disc break is superb and provides a great security in emergency situation.
7) Mileage is more or less 42-47kmpl after 1st servicing.
8) As far as I know, there is not a single evidence of loosing control by YAMAHA FAZER in any road.
9) Tyres are tubeless. So no possibility and risk of puncture at the time of travelling. Besides life span of this tyre is much more than conventional tyres. It’s obviously a unique feature of YAMAHA FAZER.
10) There is not a single report of electric start failure even in winter season. It’s really awesome.
Some Minor Drawbacks:
1) Fuel tank capacity is only 12 liters which is not sufficient for such a wonderful bike.
2) Mileage should be more than 50kmpl.(HONDA Unicorn 150cc gives 60kmpl)
3) Pillion seat should be more comfortable. Because at the time of long travelling pillion feels uncomfortable and waist pain.
4) At rainy season rear tyre spreads mud and dirt at high speed.So There should be a suitable mudguard over rear tyre.
Though Yamaha Fazer is a 153cc bike it seems like 200 or 250cc bike for it’s sporty looking and fascinating front fairing.It’s really a unique feature of this bike than other bikes like Pulsar 150, Apache 160, Hero honda HUNK , CBZ Extreme150cc etc....Undoubtedly, Yamaha Fazer 153cc is the most coolest, most stylish and the best bike in 150cc segment.
Anyone can go for this bike without any hesitation.
