I am here to talk about my 1st bike i.e. Yamaha fazer-153CC. I was very much satisfied with the bike. My bike was recieved in hand on apr ’2014. I don’t know how to express my feeling while I rode it for 1st time..... it was awesome. The safety and comfort while driving is fantastic.
First of all I was very much concerned about the mileage and riding issue of fazer due tonegative comments heard from my friends and saw the online reviews. I needed a bike in the range if 150cc, 1st option is pulsar but my brother having it and we can see anywhere pulsar and without any option I chose yamaha fz-s or fazer. 1st I booked fz-s and after I wasn’t very much satisfied with fz-s due to its naked/bold look and later decided to go for fazer with stylish look.
At last I got my fazer and crossed above 1000kms in one month. I rode my bike at first upto 60-70km/hr upto 200km and after getting my friend advice I started riding it within 40km after the 1st service.Now is the time to check the mileage. After I got my bike from 1st service I had put petrol of 4 litres, I need to check the actual reserve tank capacity because of hearing mixed words. I checked manually and I found that its actual reserve capacity is 1.5l.After I checked the mileage I was pretty much happy with the 50kmpl I got from my fazer even though I didn’t go for long only ruled in traffic and my streets I got 50kmpl solidly. I don’t know how much it will give while ruling on the highways but it will definitely be more than 50kmpl:-)
So friends mileage is purely depended on your riding capability. So ride carefully to get maximum mileage and you wont feel that you have wasted your money for the 150cc range bike.
