Of all my 16 months of experience with yamaha midship fazer, this is something which everyone has to think about?
As we all know the bike is awesome in looks, not only in looks the bikes comfortability, the driving posture, the breaking, the sound of the bike are some of the abilities which can’t even be compared with any other bikes. Few people say the bike vibrates at 60+ km, depending on the way we drive and maintain it the bike bounces back.
Essential things to be remembered while maintaining this bike;
1: exchange of engine oil in correct period of time;
2: exchange the chain fube;
3: most important point: drive the bike within 60 for the first 3000-4000kms.
Point 3 elaboration: while driving the bike within 60 from the begining the bike gets used to the amount of fuel consumption in a constant manner. I.e. Don’t drive hard or rash so that the piston does’nt gets the required torque when it hits the road. This may damage the bikes life.
4; expertise use of shifting gears
5: keep it clean so that it resembles our impression;
6: check the carbon levels and clean the spark plug definite intervals of time;
Clean the filter and carborater.
Of all the 10 months i have been getting an average mileage of 47-50; if hp is mixed with io or bp;
Individual petroleum products are not satisfying the bikes mileage by proving 40 -45km;
Worst mileage of my bike was 38 in rash conditions
On hitting the highway bike touched a top speed of 130kms for me:
The bike is really smooth and we cant judge the speed untill we see the speedometer.
The yamaha service is poor, no one will care about the bike problems; no matter wat ever problem you say tha answer is the same: "that is from the company. It will be like that"
We have to know wat all will be like that from the manufacture.
1) no matter how long you drive, you have a less stress on your back(negligible)
2)bike sounds smooth like the front sound of volvo bus.
3)happy if driven single
4)riding posture is great.
5) breaking is awesome, no other bike can compete in breaking with this bike.
1) cost is unreasonable; think why should we pay such a huge amount for this bike; what’s so special;
2) mileage is damn a problem with the governments foolish prices;
3) riding in rain dresses both rider and pillon with mud
4) head lamp which damages the batteries life when both are switched.
5) maintenance is high for all yamaha bikes; though the service is same for 100cc, 135cc and 150cc segments the rate varies,
100cc-200rs
135cc-250rs
150cc-331rs
Wat makes the decision right about the fazer
