I had purchased my bike during April 2013.Its been more than 2 years and its still running like I had purchased it yesterday.I don’t think you will get a bike so stable at the speed of 90-100 at this price point.The grip which it has on the roads because of the wider rear tyres gives you so much confidence
.People may speak bullshit but then they must have had a bike costlier than fazer for otherwise at this price point I think it will satisfy you.Still after two years I just love to go on a short ride without any reason
Mileage- Most often in between 42-45 and sometimes more also.Highest which I have recorded is 49.4 and I usually drive at a speed between 50-80kmph
Good points:
Its very stable at driveable speed(which for me is around 90max)
Smooth ride(feels good to drive)
Engine is very silent and on rev ups it sounds so good
Wider and radial rear tyres give u awesome grip
Suspension is very good at high speed and u wont feel much of bump even the pillion rider wont complain much( unless you r taking him at high speeds in speed breakers)
Adds a little bit of style(lots and lots and times people have asked me about my bike and I just love it), I think black and red combination looks best.
It still feels like new unlike some bikes of my friends which have aged more than they actually age.
Some negatives:
I think its a bit costly to maintain because of costlier spares
There are some bikes at this price which have got better acceleration but then non r this stable
Pillion seat is not so comfortable for girls if they seat sidewise
Plastics used feels cheap and have to be handled carefully and it breaks very easily.
Verdict: Its a great bike at its price. Don’t know about the current price and model of fazer but I m sure it must have improved only! So go get it!
