I write this review because I love my bike very much. Still after two years. I still drive it as I got it new now. The smooth, speedy bike.
Whenever I stand for the red signal, and when green goes ON, the first bike to move forward is Fazer.(Even though Pulsars, Karizmas, Apaches stands in the signal) Splendid pickup. Of course its Yamaha!
And now the bike is upto reach 20000 kms. Still it’s smooth while riding, I bet u, the ride will be enjoyable. The top speed I reached is 111. About the turning, the bike slants about 60 degree from ground with the good grip on road(checked with default tyre and now with MRF tyre).
Even though the looks are similar to FZ, the front dome makes ppl to turn at you for sure. The handling/control of the Fazer is best when rode in single, but for me with a pillion(fatty) rider is some what difficult. One unique feature of Fazer is its light. One light at a time(Either high or low beam)(But many change this and make the 2 lamps to glow) .
There is a one important reason why I chose this beast is, I read a single line of review from this site’s user which made me to go with this beast. He mentioned like "His small kid would sleep on the tank even the bike is at 70+ kms, not even a single vibration". This is very true. Even the pillion rider wont observe any vibration.
Now about the mileage, I maintained the beast carefully initially, at that time I got about 44kmpl at max. but without maintenance I am getting 35 kmpl.:( I am writing this review leaving it in the service center now.
After 15 days of buying this beast, I met with an accident. Even though that was a big accident with the divider of the road, the bike dashed badly, believe it, the bike was smooth to ride at the very next instant with scratches on his head.(None of its parts got damaged but the back brake’s lever got bended). This is Yamaha’s style right from the RX100.
Engine never gets too hot when driven for long time. Use Yamaha’s oil for better results. Good service engineer can do good to your beast. I am in search of some1 like that. It needs a good maintenance as mentioned in the guide.
I am ending this review, waiting from it to return from service center.
