Yamaha Fazer

Hi All I am one of the users of Yamaha Fazer. I bought this vehicle in September, 2004. Before buying this vehicle I visited some local vehicle dealers and they suggested not to go for Fazer as after RX100 all Yamaha models are failure. I had three products in my mind Pulsar 150 dtsi, CBZ, Fiero and Fazer. Everyone including my relatives, friends and local dealers recommended Pulsar on these grounds that it is a successful model, resale value is good, lots of people are already buying it, 0% finance is available, and you can get repairs done easily due to good network of after sales service stations. Finally I thought I should test ride on each bike to feel it as I am one of those who love driving and can talk to machines. Believe me I found Fazer the best bike available in the market and my experience after driving this vehicle for 8 months has fortified my hypothesis of buying this vehicle. My liking of this vehicle is based on the following experiences; 1) the bike has really good looks. 2) Pick up is excellent, I have defeated almost all the bikes available in the market on after signal pick up. 3) Till today I have not spent even a single penny on maintenance. 4) The bike is superbly silent even on high speed of 90-100 kmph. 5) Bike is vary stable and controllable at high speed, where as a Pulsar or any other bike will shiver or will not have such a high level of stability. I give full credit to its designing. 6) Average is good enough in the rage of 50-55 kmpl in city. 7) Bike is very smooth to ride and is sturdy. 8) Seat is really comfortable and design is sleek. 9) Its comfortable even for long driving. 9) Rear view mirror has been designed properly not like that of Pulsar which can really create problems for you to see back and you can easily mis-judge. 10) Very Less vibration. 11) Good shock absorbers. 12) Please do not go for bikes with disk brakes as they are dangerous and your bike can easily skid especially in rainy season. I truly believe that disk brakes are not meant for Indian roads. There are some cons like average is not as good as of Pulsar 150 dtsi. In long drive bikes with higher cc can defeat Fazer but not in terms of pick up. Where as in its cc category it can defeat any bike any time any where. I would highly recommend Yamaha Fazer, go ahead and buy one.
