Yamaha FZ 250 seems like the next big thing from the Japanese manufacturer, slotting the bike right in the quarter liter competition at the lower performance end. FZ series was never into the performance competition while there is still no alternate for their street presence. The oil cooled, fuel injected 249cc engine on the motorcycle is good for 20.7 PS and 20.4 Nm of torque. But the power and torque values are way too low in comparison to Honda CBR250R and Benelli TNT 25, which means that Yamaha might update the engine to generate more power and torque. It carries even larger tank shrouds, nicely placed and designed exhaust, comfortable seating and LED headlight. It will compete against Honda CBR250R, Benelli TNT 25 and Mahindra Mojo in its segment.
