I own a yamaha fz16 second generation and have been riding around it since more than last 2 years, recently got a chance to ride the latest one i; e fz v2.so here are my views on the it.
As looks are subjective but still I will say it is the best looking machine in its segment , now comes the performance part since yamaha has detuned the engine a bit to achieve more mileage but it’s very negligible you cant difference it out unless you are testing it for drags and signal races.
The 149 cc mill is the smoothest one I have ever seen, also the fuel injection ( FI) system handles the fuel supply very well overall giving a crisp throttle response and good kms per litre ( some users have approved of getting 50 kms/ltr) which I think is much better for this segment, the 41 mm front shock absorbers give a beefy looks to the machine, fz v2 consists of mrf tyres of 100/80/17 innthe front and 140/60/17 profile in the rear as OEM. .
Which will be changed to ceat from now , cornering is super fun on this machine due to its sticky broad tyres at the rear, the console is fully digital which was first in its segment when the series was launched, the exhaust is placed in the centre for mass centralization and better handling, overall its a good machine with value for money features, do let me know guys think about it.
