After researching and reading various expert reviews on internet I bought this machine on new year day 1st Jan 2015. I am writing this review after riding it almost 3 & 1/2 months 2200 km city ride in Delhi. Now I use it on a regular basis on city roads. I have shortlisted few bikes like Suzuki Gixxer & GS 150, Hero xterme & Hunk, before purchasing fzs fi 2.0.
Now I thought I have made a wrong decision. Initial pickup was not good and feel powerless, seat cushion are very hard you fill every bumps on road very harsh. Just think you have purchased a premium bike in 150 cc segment and what you have get only FI engine & good look!
You have to shift the gear very frequently and god sure you will fill lack of a sixth gear.
Areas of improvement: Make this machine at least 160 cc, Led tail light, rear disc break, soft cushions and add more feature in meter console like: digital clock, gear numbers.
Yes it’s very smooth when you ride in 5th gear between 60-70 speed. Over 6000 rpm it’s powerless machine. and with pillion rider it’s not more than a 100 cc bike.

After riding 12 months it’s much better responsive now. Major issue with tachometer reset button and it’s not available in Yamaha workshop or any where.
Previous version YAMAHA engine was better than this one, Yes version 2 looks much better than it’s competitors.
