I bought this bike back in 2013 and rust started to form after a month(on chain). I took it to Yamaha service center and they asked me to put oil on it(even though their manual specifically says not to put oil on it).
Every time I went to get service done I had to pay Rs. 1500+ even though it says service is free(but that’s an illusion to attract customers). They tell you that you have to pay for parts, oil, filter etc and labor is free. It doesn’t make any sense.
Pros: Digital meter, Comfortable for short ride, not too expensive, fancy looking
Cons: Back tire is not made for Indian roads. I’ve had over 100 punctures in just two years. Customer service from Yamaha is expensive and they won’t replace anything if it gets broken after purchase.
