Must say that Yamaha has finally come back with a bang. Was one of the first to test ride this beauty as well as its more powerful sibling the R15. When I rode the R15 I thought that a new defination has been given to 2 wheelers by the company that made some really Reliable and Beautiful machines. Im talking about the RD350 and the RX100. Both these machines were a breakthrough for Indian Bike Industry.
Years after Yamaha was writtten off they come back with the R15, which changed the meaning of the 150cc class. Ride it to believe it.
As for the FZ16 its a brilliant design given the fact that it is copied from its bigger version. At first glance you simply cannot take your eyes off it. But once you ride it.believe me.you will crave to own it. Though I feel they could have added more to the BHP and the engine capacity, this bike is everything that one would ask from the 150cc segment. It looks fabulous, it handles brilliantly on open roads as well as in traffic and is a superb commutor. The build quality is the best in its class and the aerodynamics are not bad at all. Am not too sure regarding the fuel consumption as when I test rode it The throtle was at the max.
All the Pulsar and Karizma owners are going to get a run for their money consediring the cost of this Beauty and the Build quality of the rest.
