Lord Of The Streets Indeed!

A little background before writing this review: I previously owned a Splendor for 7 years, but have ridden other powerful bikes like the TBird, Bullet, Aquila as also other 150cc bikes like unicorn, apache rtr and pulsar. So far I have done 1200 kms on this bike.

For city driving, this bike rocks! The handling and stability of this bike is just fantastic. In this aspect it is superior to all the other 150cc bikes I have driven. The performance in the range 30-75 kmph is just awesome. The riding position is good. And, it is definitely a head turner in terms of looks.

For longer rides/highway use however (> 50kms), this bike is less than ideal. It loses its adrenalin rush after 75-80 kmph. The riding position also needs a little getting used to. The pillion seat is also not comfortable for long rides.

This bike is not for the mileage conscious folks tho, here are the mileage figures: City driving @ normal speed (engine RPM 2K-5K) : 40-45 kmpl. City driving with continuous adrenalin pumping riding (freely using the entire RPM range) : 30-35 kmpl.

Highway driving : 50+.

Overall, a great bike for city and rare highway use on account of its excellent handling, power and looks. The naked uncovered headlight and uniquely designed tank gives this bike a personality of its own! Definitely a chick puller ;) and a pleasure to own and drive!
