The manufacturer says the bike will debut internationally by 2015. You can view the motorcycle on the company website currently. The FZ16 looks purpose built and attractive.
The Yamaha FZ16 Styling is derived from its elder siblings from the YZF-R family, evident in the dual headlamps and fairing-mounted mirrors. The instrument cluster comprises analogue and digital information for the rider. The new FZ16 gets a 14 litre fuel tank, split seats and a stubby exhaust canister.
The R3s 169kg wet weight is supported by telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. Stopping power is managed by a single front and rear disc brake, which are mounted on to smart looking ten-spoke alloys finished in black.
