Yamaha FZ250 is a quarter liter naked street machine that was recently launched in India for INR 1, 19, 500 ( ex-showroom Delhi) . Yamaha FZ25 comes with a 249cc, air cooled and fuel injected engine producing 20.69 BHP @ 8000 rpm and 20 Nm @ 6000 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and claims a mileage figure of 43 kmpl from the engine. It weighs 148 kg while provides a relaxed riding seat height of 795 mm. It is even the first of its kind to use LED headlight. Yamaha FZ25 shares most of its parts with the smaller FZ and rivals TVS Apache RTR 200 and Bajaj Pulsar RS200 around its price segment.
