Its a great bike and lives upto its name. Its gives very good milegae under normal city drive and has the power and torque to race ahead under twin carrying conditions. As common to all Yamaha bikes mechanically is superb with very smooth gear change and very comfortable ride. It also breaks the myth that Yamaha bikes are low on mileage and heavy on maintenance. Infact it was a surprise that it gives 60plus under normal city riding condition- I drive about 70Kms daily. Futher I have driven nearly 10000km and its maintenace till date has been very low, apart from normal periodice servicing.The only minus would be its non macho look, and low on graphics. It is not a bike which is a eye catcher on the roads like the pulsar.
The handling of the bike and its road grip is excellent, which is a hall mark of any Yamaha bike. Its intial pick-up and throtel is also very good. At a red light stop it will beat any bike on the road due to its instant and smooth pick-up.
