This Yamaha rocks!!!

Bought this black type J.A. this year in the month of Febuary. I bought it at a time, when no one wanted to even step inside Yamaha Showroom close by. I, at that time, wanted a bike which I can be proud of given that I wanted to be different. So, when I actually saw this bike, I thought, it looks the best in it’s segment and has a big bike feel.... very important. The quality of components used are top-notch, and apart from the usual service that is required, I’m yet to spend any money on the bike. It is in a very good cndition, thanks to me, still feel amazed by the way this bike has been put altogether. The best part, wow, this one is, what do you do when you want to corner, at 60kph. You simply downshift to 3rd gear, apply pressure thru your feet on either side, point the handlebar in a direction you want to go to, and BINGO!!!, you’ve just shown the world a stylised way to ride a 125 cc. It is certainly not my capability alone, and hat’s off to yamaha, for making a 125cc platform so much more enjoyable.

The chassis is capable of handling more power and that’s why, perhaps, the bike feels underpowered. The stability is excellent, although you can certainly change the rear tyre for a fat contact patch. The grouse. The bike has no TACHOMETER. Yamaha was certainly not doing any r&d before introducing the superb R15 and cool FZ16. The new yamaha gladiator for that matter. So although my bike is a limited edition Type JA, it still has no tachometer and has a big, huge, fule gauge. Saw in one of the blogs about the bike, a gentleman said he gets 72kmpl, lucky he is, although, my bike never returned me more that 45-50 in the city traffic.

Anyways, not really considering that, as it is not important. Coz, as far as bikes are concerned, there cannot be a bore bike that you ride. If you ride, you should ride something fun, and gladiator is for sure, FUN.... long live, Yamaha. Juhu Tara road, here I come.
