Yamaha Libero - Simple still Stunning

Hi guys, this is my first ever review, in this I’m just going to give my view about the Libero , it may differ from what you think, so I expect both type of comments (Positive and Negative) so please give your feedback so that I can improve the standards in the upcoming reviews.

Here I’ve to tell you one thing that I’m not an expert in bikes and I never ever tested and compared the performances.

The prime reason behind buying the Libero is that it comes from the Company

YAMAHA , I’ll tell you one thing that I’m totally crazy about YAMAHA , it all started when I had a chance to drive RX-100 of my friend, 5 years back.

Before driving that I used to drive only TVS Suzuki and TVS 50 which we own at that time. It was an amazing ride and the way the vehicle accelerated was something exceptional, after that experience whenever YAMAHA launched an new model I tried them instantly.

So there comes a situation in every ones life of having a mate (Bike) who will be accompanying you wherever you go, it came to me two months before. So I’ve decided to have a mate and which one I go for? Without any hesitation I went for Libero , why? you can ask, first reason is the look(I’m having Libero Lx , isn’t that eye-catching?, I’m asking you now!!! the way the Petrol Tank is designed and the finishing of the bike is truly professional (first impression is the best impression, Libero proves that right), that you can expect from the company YAMAHA .

The second reason is my height, which is 6 feet and I know that Libero is good on that part too, because these are the small things that we have to give importance so that we will not have any problems physically because of riding the bike.

Third reason is Mileage it gives and I think most of the Libero owners accept this fact, it gives what it promises that is between 70 to 80.

The thing that I’m really enjoying with Libero is that riding the bike with person sitting behind me, it never puts any strain on the engine and the handling of the bike but it makes the bike more smoother.

The things that Libero let me down is the Pick Up and Starting, you will have the smooth ride only in the 3rd and 4th gear, first two gears are there just to give the bike mobility, not more than that, you can’t whiz through in the first two gears.

Starting and especially the cold start, I must warm up the engine atleast for a minute using the Choke and another one minute after closing out the choke, two minutes means a lot to me, especially if there is an urgent work to do.

This is all what I wanted to share with you about the Libero and hope this gives an rough idea of what you can expect from this bike. Every bike has its own limitations and we have to cope with it.

I expect you to give your feedback, I don’t want the lenghty one but a single line will make me happy, even if it is going to be a Negative one, so please have your say on this review, I’ll really appreciate if you do that. Thanking in advance.

With lot of Cheers I’ll sign-off, Wish you a Happy and Safe Driving --- Krishna.
