Folks who have even 10% knowledge of bikes would swear by this beauty. If anybody has got the money power.....then this is the one they have to look at before going for the famous Hondas. The young chaps will definately be enthralled with this monster. Monster for sure, as this 998cc DOHC, 20 valve, liquid cooled engine can generate.......(eat your hearts out)......a peak power of 175 bhp.
The Throttle system is supported by fly by wire Yamaha Chip Control Throttle (YCC-T) for a fantastic response on ANY terrain. The SSlipper Type Clutch is fun in the City. The Digital Console is also very functional. Though it is a bit troublesome on long drives as you have to keep filling up the tank due to the capacity of 20 litres. But once you have topped up you just seem to forget the agony of finding a gas station. But the looks of the bike compensate for the smaller tank capacity. Its really stylish and feels lite when riding through the traffic.
Tends to heat up if driven for long in low gears but once you are on the highway u gotta be humming the tunes of ’Highwar Star’ or ’Turbo Lover’ in your mind as the entire experience will blow your mind off...............
Can go on and on for this one but I guess one has to ride one to understand what Im trying to say........
