But its worth, every penny of it. really, the day I bought the bike, I rode it for 100 km, as a custom I went to temple, parked the bike outside the temple, went in to get the priest, when me, my mother and the priest came out, there was a line up for a photo shoot with my bike in the back ground.
We had to wait for 5 minutes. the next day I had to set out for my place of work, 320 km away. my father was to go with me, we reached the destinaton after 9 hrs. but my father needed to get back home as he had to go back to his work place the next day, that meant, within five minutes after reaching my destination he had to catch one train back, which he caught, for an eight hour journey back. I was worried for him, but he not only was ok but also left for his work place the next day.
every where I went people would have three questions,
- how much is the cost?
ans. Rs. 100000+
- what is the mileage?
ans. 40+km/lit
- then what for such a high price?
ans. it has.................blank!!!!!!
actually u could elaborate if the reasons were tangible. the pleasure u get by riding it is not tangible, its a stress buster. u would do anything to come out of a fix, I have only paid a few extra thousand bucks.
i had been to mumbai for some work, initially planned for a week, but later extended for another week, guess what I was feeling the absence of MY BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what else, it feels amazing when u ride it with a pilion, when u r above 80kmph, when u r in higher rev, but beware of sharp curves else u r going to die with ur bike. u could maintain 100+ kmph speed for amazingly longer duration, I maintained it for about 2mins, I had to step on the brake as in my state (orissa) there is one villege every kilometer.
those who are sceptical about their choice, dont worry its worth for every penny of urs.
