I’m Kush and I live in Allahabad.This is the first review of R15 by an owner of R15 on mouthshut.com, i bought this bike on 23 June and really i’m in love with this bike.The thing I liked about R15 is its Muscular looks and very well used technology.
I mean this bike deliver 17bhp with a 150CC engine that is what called intelligent engineering.I’m not here to compare it with Karizma or Pulsar DTSFi but I just wanna to tell you that Karizma makes 17bhp with 225cc engine and on the other hand R15 makes 17bhp with 150cc engine!As far Fuel Consumption is concerned it is not very good though it is a performance bike.
The bike is quite comfortable though i’m 5ft 11inches tall I have no problems while riding it.Handling and control is better than any other bike on indian road and it scores full marks in this segment.It is stable at corners, while braking is very good at high speeds.No doubt about the looks of this bike it scores full marks in this one too .It is fully faired, big visor on front and dynamic looks from side as well as front !!! I have clocked 142km/hr till now and surely I will clock 150km/hr soon with this bike.
Amazing pickup because it is lighter than Karizma and Pulsar DTSFi.If you purchase this bike you will get a riding gear free with this bike which includes leather dress, riding gloves, boots and helmet.It cost me 1.07lacs to get this bike and I know all of us cannot afford this much but still if you will see and ride the R15 you will think that it is worth of that much money !!!As far as comparison goes between R15, Pulsar DTSFi & Karizma we should not run our mouth by saying that which bike is better.Just wait for Overdrive they will let us know soon that who will win the battle between Yamaha YZF R15 or Karizma or Pulsar DTSFi !!!
