YAMAHA WORST AFTER SALES SERVICE

I am a hard core fan of Yamaha brand. I am thank full for mouthshut reviews to help me choose this bike. Its been 3 years since I bought this bike. Only 1 first yr was good. right from 2nd year, except the engine and brakes, all other parts are worst. Till date I have clocked only 10, 000kms and dont travel more than 5 kms a day.


Yamaha has tied up with 3rd rated manufactures - be it the radiator pin, chain, shock absorber, etc. All know that Yamaha was almost wiped out from the market due to its POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE(i had a Yamaha Rx 100 earlier and I know their poor service setup). But only after R15 they became strong in the market again.


Of late only the true colour of Yamaha r15 is coming out due to its poor parts. I certainly appreciate the engine - none of its competitor can match Yamaha r15 engine, its style, handling - in its 150cc to 250cc segment. Also the poor after sales service guys who literally dont know about the yamaha technology do the service and spoil the brand name again.


I  bought my Yamaha r15 from Paras yamaha. Its been 3 yrs and I had spent  almost Rs. 28, 000/- including regular services and replacements.  recently my cone settings, I had to replace them. Earlier Paras yamaha  replaced my radiator pin, under manufacturing warranty. later I fought  for my chain problem but they charged me. And now my wheels and cone  settings. Paras yamaha replaced my bike parts with faulty ones and pushed me to replace them. I dont know why the HELL, yamaha india corp dont check the  service station like Paras yamaha or authorize a good ones. Big cheaters  are paras yamaha. Please DONT BUY FROM PARAS YAMAHA. But on the contradictory, their sales guys were good. This is where I  was cheated and fell in their trap.
