I personally saw the bike before launch and had the opportunity to feel how it breathes. No doubt, the power and styling is quite high compared to indian stuff. But, have u ever noticed the thin rear tyres and the sort of a phut phut beat (reminds me of an idling bajaj rear engine auto). Of course, Ive not tested the bike at road as yet, and I only hope the beat will change in high rev.
But, I think Indians have become more affordable and yam can think of bringing a little more expensive bike at around 200k packed with more features like the international ones.
When they can launch a beast like rd350 two decades back, at a time when per capita income was less and people were more towards mileage bikes, they can sure bring out a much better bike for the financially growing middle / upper middle class guys.
