All has been said in so many reviews of Yamaha R15, Let me again not talk about the same stuff about the looks, handling, brakes and other features, I too own this bike, delivered to me 2 weeks ago, I have ride it for 650 kms, what I personally feel about other R15 owner reviews in this forum that they have not fully checked the bike yet or they are too excited about there bike that they do no see any flaws in it...According to me there are a few, Please no offenses these are my personal comments:
The height of the vehicle is too low, I mean I am 6 Ft 1" but even a 5ft 10" guy would also find his thighs not fitting in the contour of the tank.
The Chain is open (yes its for all racing bikes) but in county like India you know what it means, the entire chain within few weeks would get filled with mud and especially in monsoon it will be too bad for the vehicle the chain would carry all the mud and other dirt inside the chain sprocket.
Not very glaring but again its important that R15 doesn’t have a center stand, so if you are parking at any mall or theater it gonna take as much space as 2 bikes would take and this would lead to scratches everywhere.
