The R Machine

A bike, a machine that everyone has been craving . The looks, its dynamics, everything just seems so beautiful and sexy.

I myself own a Yamaha YZF R15 2.0 . Everytime I see her, I use to fall in love with her again. She looks so damn amazingly hot.

Its been 5 years since I bought this bike. I have no serious issues with it. The maintenance cost is very low. After every 3 months or say 3000 kms, I used to change the engine oil. For me, I use to prefer Motul 300V 15W50 . It will cost you around 550 rupees.

Now about the comfort level of this bike, I do have complaints. The riding position of this bike is very aggressive but when it comes to daily use for long distances then I would say a big NO. It makes your wrist pain. The Pillion seat is very uncomfortable. Whenever the rider appiles brakes, you will just slip and move forward. And about the cushioning, its very hard.

Coming to the mileage of this bike, it gives me around 35 km per litre. So its not that bad. With a powerful engine of 17 PS it would surely consume that much of petrol.

When it comes to the handling, its is what this has been made for. The perfect combination of speed and handling. Its a fully track focused bike. Added to its light weight of only 134 kg makes it very movable at traffic jams and while reversing from parkings. But there is one problem that the rear tyre from yamaha does not have much grip, so the bike gets slipped while hard braking and in rainy days.

Overall its a great bike. It will rev your Heart!
