R15 dealer issues

On April 11 2010 I purchased r15. The manual said not to cross 5000 rpm for the first 500 kms. And not to cross 7500 rpm till 1000 kms. When I went for my first service everything about the bike was ok. One strange thing is that on r15 the low beam only one left side of the headlight illuminates at night. Means both the lights don’t work on low beam. That’s strange it makes the bike look one eyed lol. The bike does not come with main stand the one which helps to park the bike straight.your bike will always be leaning towards the left when parked . Its not good to park the bike on slopes and hills. The bike comes with automatic ignition. If that fails when travelling to a remote area, god knows what problem one can encounter. I think the Yamaha people should have also given a kick along with the bike.kick start is absent.

What I am going to narrate you comes with experience of judgement . My judgement used to fail me when I was in my early 20’sbut now I am 34 years old and my judgement is now better than before. As I told you I went for the 1st service of yamahain chandigarh emm pee motors. Industrial area. Everythinag went fine they services my bike in 2 hours. And 1st service was free .Still I had to shell out 1000 rs on my first service. The manual says 1000 kms or 30 days which ever is earlier. I drove it for 260 kms only but my 30 days were coming to an end.so when I took the bike and was driving home the rear disc brakes wont work . I had to use front disk brakes. I thought it must bea minor issue which I can solve tommorow. So next morning I came to emm pee motors.i told them the rear disc brakes are not working at all. They try to repair it for 1 hr. They did everything from cleaning brake shoes to looking at oil pump. But still the brakes gave problem. Then suddenly my eyes went on brake shoes they were so scratchy they could not belong to a bike that has done only 260 kms that also at low speeds. I went to their manager with brake pads in my hand to show him the condition of brake pads. I told frankly to him that one of the mechanics have deceived me.the mechanic has deliberatly changed the brake shoes and replaced it with low quality ones.reason I tell the reason. Some dear customer who must be close to the mechanic courtesy good supply of money.must have requested him for new brake shoes . And brake shoes of yamaha are costly. They musthave designed a sinister plan to plug out brake pads from my new bike and put it in the customers bike.and I am 100% sure of it. They did it. As my rear brakes were 100% fine before service but just after service the brakes weretotally down. This is not something new a yamaha. Mechanics who come from poor back grounds with little education moral education also , they do all this type of things. I thought I will replace the brake pads as I was under free warranty.the mechanic who was reparing my bike said to me he is going out for a drive to check the rear brakes. He took a long drive of over10 min and came back everything fine the rear brakes have miraculously started working again.he did not take any kit along with him when he went for drive. So I wan t to ask how the hell he got the rear brakes working while drving the bike . I answer this again . I know what these people do. After stealing my brake pads the mechanic do not keep it in the workshop as there is danger of being found out. So what they do is they took the brake pads to one of their friends house in order to deliver them to the customer who must be dear to them courtesy money.he went speeding on my new bike crossing 8000r pm and did 13 kms .

As I checked my speedometer that was also tampered during the drive to keep the reading disguised from me.and went to his friends house there he got the kit from his friend changed the brake pads came back. Saying everything is fine.you must be wondering how I know he went to his friends house. I answer this because emm pee motors I know them since 1992.earlier I had yamaha rx 100 then yamaha rx 135. Some two years ago I wanted a new silencer for my rx 135. And some spare parts.the guy who helped me was a mechanic in yamaha. He did not bring me to workshop but to somebody’s house to get the parts .after getting the parts he told me to come to workshop and not to disclose that I got the parts from him. You got it what I mean to say.?

When I was driving my bike home the bike engine was more noisy than before and it was overheated also. Thanks to mehanic who destroyed my r15.

One mistake I will never make again is that when you get your bike serviced you should literally sit on mechanics head and see no other parts are being tampered with.i was sitting in managers office all the time not knowing whats going on with my bike. I trusted these mechanics but they betrayed me.
