To begin with, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the earlier versions of the Yamaha R15, I am right around 6’1’ and simply the R15 looking quite tiny when I tried it out for the first time.
Ever since then I never went back, but right around last year when the Yamaha R15 v3 was revealed there was something new it didn’t look anywhere near the previous versions, it was on another level close to it’s bigger cc siblings both in styling and dynamics.
That day I decided that when these bikes roll out I would make sure I would try it out and feel what really brought that appeal to this version of the bike.
Early 2019, was when I got my hands on the Yamaha R15, first impressions were,
The design language has improved significantly as did its performance.
Aerodynamics were precise and to the point, every twist and turn gives the rider almost total control over this beast of a machine,
confidence inspiring right from the point you turn on the ignition and rev up the accelerator both on a track or riding it out on the streets.
All I can say after riding is that its another class in the 150cc segment bike catagory and it has no competetion in its segmeant what so ever they ones that it could take on are the 200cc-250cc bikes for sure.

problem with the fuel tank. My verdict;
Class apart performer and a must by if you have the bucks to do so and it is definitely a show stopper and an eye magnet.
