This is my first review about my RX100.It’s been more than two years since I am riding RX100. I am going to share my own experience about this performance machine. I purchased it in jan 2007 from a friend of mine. it is 92 model. it cost me 9500. I invested 4500 on paint job, 1350 on Zapper-Q rear tyre, 2480 on K&N filter, changed 6 volts regulator with 12 volts one(110rs), chain set rolon(680rs). replaced front chain sporket having 14 spokes with 17 spokes.
After doing all the changes it finally costed me around 19K, but no regrets because the performance of the bike have been increased to extent. here at chandigarh you can’t really push the bike to the limits because of strict traffic rules and roundabouts after every 1 KM, it is same in my case but when I go to my hometown BATHINDA which is 226 km one side run from chandigarh I enjoy the pleasure of riding fast. It touches the speed of 130 KMPH. and the mileage it produces is between 30 to 35.
But if you drive it in controlled manner with the speed of around 60 my bike is giving mileage of 43+, this is not true in case of all RX100s but thanks to front sporket and K&N filter its mileage is higher than other RXs, it never ditched me anywhere. I rode around 300 km in a single trip 8 times in last 2 years. I trust it like anything. Proper service and care will lead to expected results. it’s sound is just awsome. no other bike is there to compete with RX100. but sadly it’s not in production now a days. Still there are so many bikers which love this Performance Machine. I will tell you more in my next review.please tell me the other possible ways to increase the performance of my RX100.all the suggestions an advices are heartly welcome.
